Stradbroke & District Community Association

Stradbroke & District Community Association is a registered charity and was established in 1963 as a membership based organisation in response to the needs of local people to oversee, manage and support activities within the Stradbroke Community Centre and to create opportunities for our members to become involved in community activities. The association is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the building, which has been privately leased by the Association since being built in 1973.

Our charity receives no operational funding and relies entirely on the income from memberships, room hire and fundraising activity.

The centre is run by a small team of willing volunteers who have the task of organizing, agreeing and supporting the activities that take place within the centre.

The team consists of:

  • Naseem Howley, Secretary / Bookings Manager
  • Helen Klymczuk, Treasurer
  • Lynn Rooney, Committee Member
